- Salvation History: From Eden…to Bethlehem provides the students of the necessary materials to understand and eventually live the teachings inscribed in the sacred books of the Old Testament. This book offers students what they need to know of God’s plan here on earth as revealed in the Sacred Scriptures. The lessons are Bible-based and are intentionally done for students to obtain the knowledge about their faith as prescribed in the Holy Book. Thus, the book is “apologetic” in nature where the Catholic faith is presented with the needed biblical passages to refute and eventually to clear out the doubts brought forth by the fundamentalists. Furthermore, the lessons are equipped with the following:
- (a) content standard and performance standard for each lesson;
- (b) suggested methodology to make the discussion more effective;
- (c) desired values to be implanted;
- (d) formative and summative assessments;
- (e) dogmas and doctrines to be imparted; and
- (f) suggested assignments (mostly of reflections and family activities) to deepen the acquisition of knowledge.
